Hatırlama: yalnız in front of kalıbında of vardır; under, near, behind, on, in edatlarında of yoktur.

Ayrım: bir şey çevrelenmişse in, bir yüzeyin üzerindeyse on kullanılır.

Ayrıca over da "üstünde" demektir ama değmeden: The kite is over the house.

Eksik olan of'tur:

Dikkat: under, near ve behind'dan sonra of gelmez: "under the car", "near the tree".

in front of üç sözcüktür ve of atlanmaz.
under, near ve behind'dan sonra of gelmez: "under the car" doğrudur.

💡 Aklında kalsın: Yer edatları: in içinde, on bir yüzeye değerek üstünde, under altında, near yakınında, behind arkasında, in front of önünde, next to yanında, between arasında, over değmeden üstünde. in ile on karıştırılmaz: kapalı bir yerin içi in, bir yüzeyin üstü on'dur. in front of üç sözcüktür ve of atlanmaz; under, near ve behind'dan sonra of gelmez. Bir şeyin yerini sormak için Where is ...? kullanılır ve cevap It is ... the ... biçimindedir; çoğulda Where are ...? ve They are ... olur.
