🎨 Sıfat sırası

İngilizcede bir ismin önüne birden çok sıfat gelirse belirli bir sıra izlenir.

Genellikle iki ya da üç sıfat yeter; daha fazlası ağır durur.

Sıfat yerine ilgi cümleciği:

Uzun betimlemelerde ilgi cümleciği daha doğaldır.

Örnek betimleme:

Safranbolu is a small historic town in the north of Türkiye. There are hundreds of beautiful old Ottoman houses in the old quarter, and there is a famous clock tower on the hill.

The houses are made of wood and stone, and many of them are now well-preserved museums. There isn't much traffic in the narrow streets, so the town is very peaceful.

What I like most is the old bazaar, which is surrounded by small workshops. It reminds me of a film set. It is worth visiting in autumn, when the streets are covered with yellow leaves.
