mind burada "itiraz etmek, rahatsız olmak" demektir. I don't mind sevdiğini değil, rahatsız olmadığını anlatır — ölçekte tam ortada durur.

Örnek metin — Chores I Like and Dislike

In our family, everybody has a task, but I don't like all of them equally.

The chore I like most is cooking. I love making menemen for breakfast because it is creative and my family enjoys it. I also don't mind watering the plants — it only takes five minutes and it is quite relaxing.

On the other hand, the chore I hate most is ironing. I can't stand it because it is boring and it takes too long. I also don't like taking out the garbage because it smells bad, although I have to do it twice a week.

I prefer washing the dishes to cleaning the bathroom. Actually, I'd rather do any chore than clean the bathroom!

According to a survey in our class, most students hate ironing too, while cooking is the most popular chore. Nobody likes cleaning the bathroom.

To sum up, I don't mind doing chores, but I think everybody should do the task they are best at.

mind fiili burada "itiraz etmek, rahatsız olmak" demektir. I don't mind = "benim için sorun değil".
