It is ten o'clock and we are in the science lab. Our teacher is explaining the experiment, and we are listening carefully.
My partner is pouring water into a beaker. I am measuring the temperature with a thermometer. The water is getting warmer and it is starting to boil.
As everybody knows, water boils at 100 °C, but today it is boiling at 102 °C, because we added salt. Our teacher says that salt raises the boiling point.
I don't understand everything yet, but I think science is fascinating. Right now, two students are writing down the results, while the others are cleaning the test tubes.
